EMILY TREGEAR

Emily graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice.

From a young age, Emily has always been inspired by Physiotherapist’s abilities to help people return to what they love in life, no matter what this may be. She values getting to know her patients and empowering them to take an active approach to their treatment.

Emily has developed a special interest in women’s health and undertook the Pelvic Health foundation training at Pelvic Health Melbourne in 2023. She will expand on this with postgraduate pelvic floor university studies in 2024, however for the meantime please refer to the Pelvic Floor section of our website to learn about the conditions that Emily is able to assess and treat.

Emily especially loves treating prenatal and postnatal women especially those looking for help with pelvic girdle pain, mastitis, abdominal separation/DRAM, C-section recovery and pre/post-natal aches and pains (i.e. mum thumb, lower & upper back pain etc).

Early in her career, she was fortunate enough to spend a number of years working in the medical department at the Carlton Football Club (AFL) and Northern Blues Football Club (VFL). She has completed her Clinical Pilates training through both DMA and the Australian Physiotherapy Council.

When Emily is not at the clinic she keeps busy by going on road trips to discover new beaches and the countryside, is a keen runner and loves doing her own Pilates.
