Leah graduated from the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at the University of Melbourne and prior to this completed an undergraduate science degree majoring in anatomy and physiology. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Leah worked as a sports trainer for VAFA football clubs. Since then, Leah has spent the majority of her career working in private practice and has also worked as a physiotherapist in aged care.
Leah has completed dry needling qualifications which she often incorporates into her treatments alongside manual therapy and clinical exercises. Leah is also passionate about clinical Pilates and believes that it is highly effective in rehabilitating and preventing injury, and fantastic for improving general strength and stability. Leah has completed Matwork and Equipment Pilates qualifications with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
Leah has a particular interest in running injuries. She has always been passionate about exercise and used to compete for athletics and soccer clubs across Victoria. She is an avid runner but also enjoys Pilates and yoga; which she believes are all important for physical and mental wellbeing.
