At Port Melbourne Physiotherapy and Pilates, we have an experienced Hand Physiotherapist available to treat a wide range of hand and upper limb conditions.
Vanessa Cheung is a highly-qualified Hand Physiotherapist and has been working in this field for 10 years. Prior to joining PMPP, Vanessa worked as a Senior Hand Physiotherapist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In this setting, she become competent in assessing and treating a range of traumatic upper limb injuries.
Vanessa can create thermoplastic splints in the clinic to help manage a range of hand and upper limb conditions.
Vanessa can assess, treat and create management plans for the following conditions:
- Finger fractures and dislocations
- Sports injuries
- Mallet finger
- Trigger finger
- Wrist pain
- De Quervains tenosynovitis
- Tennis elbow
- Osteoarthritis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
