During your initial consultation your physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your injury or condition, and conduct a comprehensive physical examination. They will then advise you of the appropriate treatment.
Strategies will be provided to assist you with ongoing management of your condition, including postural and ergonomic advice, appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises and ways to improve your overall health and well-being.
You can expect to be treated with the utmost care. We pride ourselves in providing the best standard of treatment and aim to get you back to feeling great as soon as possible!
Your treatment will vary depending on the assessment, extent and severity of your injury/ symptoms. Physiotherapy may include any of the following:

- Dry needling
- Ultrasound
- Exercise therapy

- Splinting
No. You do not need a referral from a doctor to see a physiotherapist.
However, if you have seen a doctor or other therapist a letter from them detailing any investigations they’ve performed or treatments they’ve already tried is useful. Please bring along any tests you’ve had (such as xrays) as they can assist us in providing you with an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
Not a problem at all! All new clients are required to attend an Initial Assessment, where your physiotherapist will take a thorough history of past or present injuries and determine your health and fitness goals. From there they will undertake an assessment of your spine and core muscles, using a real time ultrasound scan. You will then be taught the correct way to activate your core muscles, before beginning your exercise program using the reformer, trapeze table as well as other pieces of gym equipment. If you have not had any core stability experience you will then likely need to attend several one-on-one sessions to ensure you are safe using the equipment and learn the exercises correctly before joining a class.
Our Clinical Exercise Classes are small and personalised, with a maximum of 4 people per class, allowing for more individualised attention. All sessions are run by Physiotherapists. We also offer 2 on 1 sessions or individual sessions.
