Mums and Bubs
At PMPP we offer “Mums and Bubs” Dynamic Core Stability classes in order for new mums to bring their baby to class with them. We understand in the early stages post-natal it can be a difficult time juggling child care and meeting your own exercise and health needs. However this is the crucial time to strengthen and get back into shape to help you cope with the demands of a new baby and prevent lower back pain and injury.
Mums and Bubs classes are run during quieter times of the day, in the mid-morning and early afternoon, and we will do our best to work with you to find a time that suits you and your baby’s needs.
As evenings and Saturdays are very busy with many people coming and going, we are unable to offer mums and bubs sessions at these times. As a safety precaution, due to equipment around the studio, we require all toddlers who are starting to move about to be in their prams or seats during classes, to ensure little fingers are kept safe and no injuries occur.
We offer individual Clinical Exercise sessions as well as small classes (up to 3 people per class).
Sessions are individualized and class sizes are restricted, to enable a safe exercise environment and to allow your physiotherapist to modify exercises as appropriate to you.
We also offer unsupervised Pilates sessions for individuals who have previously participated in Clinical Exercise classes and are confident in the use of the equipment.
