Kate Wharton

Kate graduated from La Trobe University in 2012, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and has specialised skills in the field of Hand Therapy. She is passionate about treating hand, wrist and upper limb conditions, particularly traumatic and sports injuries. 

She has gained experience working in a variety of renowned public hospital settings and has established relationships within Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology departments. She loves assisting patients with hand and upper limb injuries to regain function and get back to doing what they enjoy. 
 
Special Interests:
  • Conservative and post-surgical management of fractures and soft tissue trauma to the hand, wrist and forearm
  • Sports injuries

  • 2014 – Post-graduate subject ‘Advance Hand Therapy Theory, Principles and Practice’ – Monash University
  • 2012 – Bachelor of Occupational Therapy – La Trobe University
