Mitchell graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, before commencing work in Christchurch as a rotational physiotherapist. He then moved to Wellington to work in Community care, prior to making the move across the Tasman to Melbourne, where he joined the team at Port Melbourne Physiotherapy & Pilates.
Mitchell treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, using dry needling and Clinical Pilates to complement his treatments. Mitchell has completed two Half Ironman triathlons and enjoys working with clients to help guide their return to sport or work towards their health and exercise goals. he has an interest in strength and conditioning and exercise programs to optimise performance.
Mitchell enjoys working in collaboration with a range of health professionals to provide a holistic approach to treatment and gain optimal patient outcomes. He is currently one of our GLA:D physiotherapists; a exercise and education program developed to assist patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Outside of work Mitch enjoys training and competing in triathlons.
