SALLY MAPLE

Sally graduated with honours from The University of Melbourne in 2003. Sally has completed her Pelvic floor training through the APA, Clinical Pilates training with Dance Medicine Australia and has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.

In 2010 Sally and Sheree opened PMPP in order to pursue their interests in Clinical Pilates, musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy. Sally believes Clinical Pilates to be an essential adjunct to recovering from injury, to keep well throughout pregnancy and post-partum and for injury prevention.

Sally is very experienced in the treatment and management of pregnancy related back and pelvic pain, both pre- and post-natal. Since having her daughter Gigi in 2017, she developed a special interest in this area, and subsequently co-authored PMPP’s eBook, Bump & Beyond. Sally is passionate about helping women throughout their pregnancy journey and into motherhood. She now also has a son Joshua, born in March 2020.

Sally believes in an holistic approach to exercise and well-being, enjoying a range of activities to keep fit and healthy, including running, swimming and pilates. She loves getting outdoors with her family for hikes in the Grampians, bike rides and running laps around Albert Park lake.
