Travelling for work and holidaying overseas can get in the way of a regular gym or exercise routine. Not all hotels have gyms, and late arrival times and early departures mean it’s not always conducive to going out for a walk or jog. So before you know it you’re feeling tired, sluggish and back to square one, making it even harder to get back into routine when you arrive home. With Christmas and NYE coming up travelling home to see family and friends can also interrupt your workout routine, so having a quick workout on hand to do anytime and anywhere can be a great tool to keep you motivated and on track.
Below is a list of six simple exercises for an all over body workout you can do in your hotel room, the park or at the beach, no equipment necessary. You can do one, two or three rounds of the circuit depending on the time you have to spare. Whether it’s getting up ten minutes earlier to get a quick set in before heading down to breakfast in the morning or squeezing in a set before heading out to dinner, every little bit helps, and it can be a great stress relief and mental boost after a busy day. And you can even do these exercises in your lounge room when you’re home and have a long day ahead or if Melbourne is putting on a rain shower!
